I am a diligent, self-motivated problem solver with extensive IT and management experience.
I've worked within the IT Department of The Scotsman since 1998. In 2006 The Scotsman was purchased by
Johnston Press Plc. Since then my role has expanded to cover the entire Scottish Division of Johnston Press
where I currently hold the position of Divisional Systems Manager. As deputy head of the IT department I am
responsible for many aspects of IT management.
In 2006 I was awarded a Master of Science degree in Strategic Project Planning with distinction by
Heriot-Watt University. I was also awarded by Heriot-Watt University a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science in 1998.
In 2005 I was elected a Chartered Member of the British Computer Society. I was also awarded, in 2005,
an MCSE in Windows 2003 by Microsoft.
